Over the last year we’ve been talking to innovative teachers about how they are developing new practices and what the problems are that they have been overcoming when trying new approaches to learning and teaching.
One clear resistance to developing new practices (that was highlighted by these teachers) was having the time to search for, test and think about new tools and approaches that could be used to try something in a new way.
So we’re building a bank of these tools and approaches; we’ve searched for them, thought about how they could be used and hope to add further tools as we find out about them, play with them and begin to understand how they can be applied to provide new opportunities for teaching and learning. You can explore these tools, organised into five categories, via the tabs on this page.
New tools are appearing all of the time and can be used in a whole variety of different ways. Similarly, there are many different approaches that provide opportunities to think about problems differently and provide new ways to work.
